Because I love to craft and I love to share my creations with all I decided to go high tech and create a blog. Since this is a first to me any suggestions are greatly appreciated. I am now retired and hope to have much more time to create and share. I mainly do scrapbooking and card making. I love all new gadgets and love to experiment. In the coming weeks I will be posting some of my creations and tips that I have found helpful.

Napkin & Cling wrap card
Not sure who it was that posted tutorial on cling and napkin cards but I love this medium. Today I made this card using a floral napkin, I used the napkin as background on my card and then cut an additional flower to make it pop. Please let me know what you think.

Now that I am retired I now have more time to play. I have been creating these calendars for a few years but now have started selling them. Everytime I make one I come up with a different page. They are fun and unique. Tell me what you think.

Geo Die
I now have two geo dies, wasn't sure what I was going to do with them, but I did find a good use for the flower one. I used Walk in My Garden for the stems. Let me know what you think.
Blizzard of 2011
I have worked for the same company for 18 years and never have we had a snow day, That is until Wednesday Feb 2nd when we officially got 20.2 inches of snow. Since I am still recovering from a broken ankle I couldn't go out and play so instead I stayed in and scrapped the page. On the left is my back yard, as you can see I do have a pool someplace in that mess. The pic on the right is my front yard. You cannot see anything but white. Believe it or not I do have bushes and a driveway someplace. I used inkscape and SCAL to cut and weld my letters and put flock on them. We received another 4 inches of snow today. Spring please come in a hurry.

Geo Die
I know many of us have been seeing information about the geo die. I decided I really needed one. Once I bought one and played around with it I decided I really didn't know what to do with it. How would I utilize this design? After experimenting I came up with a book mark. I am looking forward to incorporating it into cards and pages.

Creativity starts at home
I love to use stamps and my craft robo. I recently bought a cricut expressions and have found I have a new love. Seems with all the crafting tools and gadgets there is no end to creativity. These are a few of the cards I have had fun making. The top one you will see has two parts, the second picture shows the positioning of the smaller card, which actually has magnets on it and is a book mark. In that card I used an embossing folder to create the blue part of the card.
